We are very excited to announce that Sonja Simon-Zoula joins the team as Head of Clinical Operations.
Sonja is a clinical expert with more than 18 years of experience in medical devices including 10+ years of experience in ophthalmology clinical research, during which she established strong relationships with many KOLs. Having mainly worked in start-up environments, Sonja brings extensive and comprehensive experience in designing, initiating, developing, and executing scientific research from early ideas to the commercial stage. In addition to her CE marking knowledge, in class IIa devices principally, Sonja is well experienced in FDA submission, and she has helped obtain PMDA approval from Japanese regulatory authorities in her former position. Sonja holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and is a co-author of several peer-reviewed publications. Welcome, Sonja!
